Monitoring your Elastic IP (EIP) limits will help you avoid public IP resources starvation in case you need to expand rapidly your AWS EC2-Classic infrastructure.

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console.

2. Click on the AWS Support Center page on the top menu.

3. On the Create Case support page, perform the following:

  1. Under the Regarding section, select Service Limit Increase.
  2. Choose Elastic IPs from the Limit Type dropdown list as the type of limit to increase.
